About the group
The Advanced Mobility and Transportation Division belongs to the TEMA – Centre for Mechanical Engineering and Automation located in the University of Aveiro, a R&D unit recognized by the Portuguese Science and Technology Foundation (FCT) with a global evaluation of Very Good, and coordinated by Professor Margarida Coelho. Its main goal is to develop intelligent tools towards less energy-intensive, clean, safe and sustainable transportation systems. Research Activities: 1) Impacts of transportation systems; 2) Connected & automated mobility; 3) Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) of alternative energy vectors for road vehicles; 4) Active Modes.
